Helping Hands Learning Academy is located in Southaven, Mississippi, and is the only early intervention center in DeSoto County that specializes in the treatment of autism. Early identification has proven to be a key element in the success of children diagnosed with autism and other developmental delays.
We serve children from the ages of 1-5 and employ the methods of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in order to help children reach a higher level of cognition. Discrete trials, incidental teachings, and pivotal response training are some of the techniques that are used on a daily basis at Helping Hands Learning Academy.
At Helping Hands, we believe that Hope Is a Hand Away. Early childhood education is no longer a luxury; it’s a necessity. Helping Hands will provide positive social interactions, creative curriculum, and a nurturing learning environment that will allow children to flourish and gain confidence in all aspects of development. Helping Hands also believes that parents are the first and most influential teachers, and we want to aid you in your pursuit in educating your child.
